Editorial Policy

This Editorial Policy explains how Pellowyn Blog articles are written, reviewed, updated and corrected. It applies to every article on the site.

Who writes our articles?

Each article is published under the name of the writer responsible for that topic. You can read about every writer, what they cover and how they check their work on our team page. Our writers publish under pen names. Their profiles describe the topics they write about and the way they check their work; they do not claim formal qualifications, and we do not present any article as professional, medical, legal, financial or religious advice.

How are articles written?

  • We start from what readers actually search for and answer the main question in the first few lines.
  • Facts, figures, definitions and quotations are checked against primary or official sources where they exist, such as manufacturer specifications, official definitions, dictionaries and the original texts.
  • Creative collections such as wishes, captions, shayari, puns and prayers are written for the site and checked for natural language, tone and accuracy of any quoted text.
  • Images are original: our own graphics or AI-generated illustrations. We do not use scraped photos or pictures of real people without permission.

How are articles reviewed?

Every article has a named writer and is reviewed before it is published. Senior Editor Ethan Caldwell reviews articles by the other writers. Ethan’s own articles are reviewed by the writer whose topic matches, for example Rohan Malviya for profile-picture (PFP) guides; when no other writer covers the topic, the article is checked by Ethan alone and the byline shows no separate reviewer. The reviewer checks facts, examples and wording against the writer’s sources and asks for fixes before the article goes live. The byline under each headline shows who wrote the article, who reviewed it (where there is a separate reviewer) and when it was last updated.

Do we use AI?

Yes. Pellowyn Blog uses AI tools to help with research, outlines, first drafts and illustrations. AI output is never published unchecked: a writer edits every article, checks its facts against sources, and a reviewer reads it before publication. AI-generated images are illustrations, not photographs of real events or real people.

How do we correct mistakes?

If you spot an error, email contact@pellowynblog.com or use our contact page with the article link and what needs fixing. We check every report, correct confirmed errors as quickly as we can, and update the “Last updated” date on the article when the change affects its content.

How often are articles updated?

We revisit articles when facts change, when readers report a problem, or when a better answer becomes available. Time-sensitive topics, such as prices and specifications, are checked more often than evergreen collections. Small fixes to spelling or layout do not count as an update.

Independence and advertising

Pellowyn Blog is independent. Our writers choose topics based on what readers need, not on payment. If we ever publish sponsored content or use affiliate links, we will label them clearly on the page.
